Teaching is a complex job, where it feels like the task list is never ending and yet we want to be fully present with our students. The beginning of any year is full of new learning and establishing new relationships for all educators, especially new teachers who are new to a school community and taking on their first classroom. In this article I want to offer some tips for new teachers and welcome them into one of the most important, challenging, and rewarding jobs there is.
